Career
Gowitrikar is originally a doctor by profession. She started her career as a model after winning the Gladrags Mega Model opposition in 1996 won the “best body” and “best face” prizes in Asian Super Model Contest in 1997.She modeled for companies such as Ponds and appeared in TV profitable for Coca Cola while working as a ramp model in Mumbai. In 2001,Gowitrikar participate in the Mrs. World 2001 held in Las Vegas which she won.
Personal life
Gowitrikar has a younger sister, Kirtan (Arzoo) Gowitrikar, who mechanism as an actress. She also has a younger brother Alpan (Mausam) Gowitrikar who is 9 years younger than her and is her individual assistant.Gowitrikar was married to Dr. Muffazal Lakdawala and they have 2 kids together. The couple separated in early 2009 and has filed for separation.
